As an aspiring designer in the world of Themed Entertainment, my first chance at an Associate Scenic Designer is an immense milestone for my career and skill-building path. Starting with the initial design, my Lead Designer, Thalia Lara Hollinger, and I created concepts for key aspects of the play, and tasked ourselves with the communication tool of a Model Box. With this, we were able to properly explain our ideas to the Director and Scene Shop Supervisor, allowing for easy entry into a demanding process. In each corner of the stage (Vom), we themed the area to represent each season of the year.
