The basic ink pen, a common tool used every day for countless functions. For my project, we were tasked with reverse engineering a complex object of our choice by disassembling and measuring each individual part, then creating perfectly accurate SolidWorks models and drawings. In each drawing, I included GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance) to help communicate specific tolerances to the manufacturer, allowing for precise builds and referencing throughout the process. Finally, we created exploded and collapsed views and drawings for our complex part.
